It’s that time of year again! Tremor Soundsystem celebrates five years putting on some of the biggest, best and most diverse shows Bristol has seen. We’ve come a very very long way from the days of being stuffed the secret back room of Timbuk2. We’ve had some truly epic shows over the years including Chinese Man at Motion Bristol. Dub Fx at Lakota and Ed Solo and MC Darrison at the Trinity Centre for NYE 2015/16.
Well this show is going to take the bar we’ve set ourselves over the years and take it to the next level!

Krafty Kuts is a living legend of electronic music. His multi-genre sets, dexterity on the decks and dedication to dancefloor hedonism have earned him hierarchy status in every genre of electronic music. After his performance for us with A.Skillz at Motion in May of 2015 we just had to get him back. This time we’ve brought along Dynamite MC to host. Arguably on of the best MCs around and certainly the best to host the style of breaks that Krafty plays it was a no brainer to bring this legend on board. A little birdie tells us that these two have a secret project they’ve been working on so expect something sensational!

✦ SYMPHONICA feat. MR SWITCH & GREAT SCOTT
This is quite possibly one of the most exciting bookings we’ve ever made over here at Tremor HQ.
Symphonica is a fresh & brand new project, which fuses together two different worlds: the raw power & soul of the orchestra, and the heavy bass & beats of the DJ!
Over the course of an hour, expect to hear a mixture of brand new compositions – which pit string sections against scratch skills, double bass against synth bass – and some classic tracks, played as you’ve never heard them played before – by a whole Orchestra!
You couldn’t just have any DJ at the head of this project, It had to be Mr Switch – World DJ Champion, the reigning DMC World DJ Champion. Having already cut his teeth alongside orchestras – as the first DJ in history to play in a classical concert at the BBC Proms – this time, alongside composer Miles Hancock, Mr Switch employs his expert knowledge of turntablist trickery and dancefloor destroying beats to remix the orchestra live, giving a foot-friendly twist to classical sounds.
The possibilities are endless!
Joining them will be Hip Hop duo Great Scott. one of the most talented up and coming UK hip hop acts around. Their charisma and intelligent lyrics keep you wanting more.
We’ll be dropping some promo videos of what the three acts achieve together, my god it sends shivers down the spine! It takes old school hip hop to the next level and beyond!

At Shindig Weekender this year this man won a competition to play on our stage. And WOW! This guy blew us away! His tune selection, his mixing, his scratching, if you closed your eyes you might mistake him for A.Skillz or Featurecast so we had to get him down.
